Timothy Hon Hung Lee is a British-born Chinese artist whose practice interrogates identity, belief, and cultural heritage in a world saturated by images and digital noise. Rooted in painting, the work draws from religious iconography, ritual forms, and diasporic memory to navigate tensions between reverence and critique.
The paintings function as devotional objects—layered, ambiguous, and deliberately unstable—inviting quiet contemplation while confronting the commodification of sacred symbols in contemporary culture.
